9:30am~The Fellowship Hall at Light & Life~Downey
"Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:5
This is a promise you can count on. My desire was for God to choose a team of committed and excited Christians who would be willing to heed God's call.
The excitement spilled over even to those who were not called to go. Anna "Banana," Linda Brownlee and Lora Cruz were at the church bright and early. Anna brought goodies to eat and all of them helped me set up for the meeting.
In attendance that morning were, Debbie Boyce, Karen Boyce, Kelli Boyce, Linda Brownlee, Greg Cashner, Lora Cruz, Anna Johnson, Elsa Lopez, Betty Martinez, Hannah Piohia, Naka Piohia, Margarita Quintanilla, Frances Vazquez and myself.
We opened the meeting with prayer followed by a Bible Study prepared by Greg. It was awesome. You could feel the spirit in that room!
We had question and answer time and fundraising discussions.
The meeting was very productive and full of possibilities.

We are praying for this Cuba Mission trip and all involved. We can't wait to read and hear about ALL that God does through this trip!! Very Exciting!
